The Kawasaki FA130D is a 129 cc (7.92 cu.in.) 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft for general-purpose applications.
The Kawasaki FA130D engine has a slide-valve (L-head) design and crankshaft made of heat-treated ductile iron integrated with counter-balance weights and camshaft drive gear. The piston is made of hard-chrome plated aluminum alloy and equipped with two compression rings including silicon carbide plated top ring and one oil control ring. Main bearings are: on P.T.O. side, ball bearing; on magneto side, lead bronze sintered alloy plain bearing with steel back metal.
The FA130D engine has a recoil starter, mechanical fly-weight type governor, pulse pump type, or float type carburetor, with idle mixture adjustment and magneto ignition system with waterproof molded ignition coil and dustproof breaker point enclosure. The electronic ignition system was available as an option.
The engine a compression ratio rating is 6.4:1. Bore and stroke are 62.0 mm (2.44 in) and 43.0 mm (1.69 in), respectively. The FA130D motor produced 3.1 HP at 4,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 6.1 Nm (0.62 kg·m, 4.48 ft·lb) at 3,200 rpm of maximum torque.

Need point gap
Hello.i need a nut for kawasaki fa130.
My FA130D DOES NOT START.
PETROL IS GOING TO CARBIRATOR.
NO CURRENT TO PLUG, I CHECK THE COIL IT LOOKS GOOD ,THE CAPACITOR ?
I have a similar [so start/no spark] problem. Mine has an igniter box # 21119-2103 which is a common problem. I have been unable to find either an ignition system wiring diagram or specific testing of the igniter. Can anyone here help with that information? Thanks.
Rust build up on magneto magnet and coil side contact with the magnet that produces the spark.
Hi there,
Is there anyone holding a spare carburator / or having contact to a dealer still supplying it and other NOS spareparts for the FA130D
Thanks
Jens
