The Hatz 1B20V is a 243 cc, (14.83 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion diesel engine with a vertical shaft, manufactured by Motorenfabrik Hatz GmbH & Co. KG for general-purpose applications.
This engine has a single cylinder and overhead valves. The Hatz 1B20V engine can be equipped with a recoil starter or electric starter motor 12 or 24 Volts.
A 69.0 mm (2.72 in) cylinder bore and 65.0 mm (2.56 in) piston stroke give the 1B20V engine a total of 243 cc (14.83 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 22:1.
