Kohler K662

Kohler K662The Kohler K662 is a 1,101 cc (67.20 cu·in) twin-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine from K-series, manufactured by Kohler Co.

The Kohler K662 engine has an L-head (side valve) design, horizontal PTO-shaft, and pressurized lubrication system with a positive pressure oil pump. This engine is equipped with a downdraft carburetor and magneto ignition systems. The K662 engine used paper air cleaner (oiled foam pre-cleaner was available as an option) and full-flow type oil filter.

The cylinder bore is 92.0 mm (3.62 in) and the piston stroke is 82.5 mm (3.25 in). This engine produced 24.3 PS (17.9 kW; 24 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower.
