Kohler K532

Kohler K532The Kohler K532 is an 880 cc (53.7 cu·in) twin-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine from K-series, manufactured by Kohler Co.

The Kohler K532 engine has an L-head (side valve) design, horizontal PTO-shaft, and pressurized lubrication system with a positive pressure oil pump. This engine is equipped with side-draft carburetor and battery ignition systems. The K532 engine used paper air cleaner (oiled foam pre-cleaner was available as an option) and full flow type oil filter.

Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 85.7 mm (3.37 in) and 76.2 mm (3 in), respectively. This engine produced 20.3 PS (14.9 kW; 20.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower.

The breakdown of the engine code is as follows:

  • K – K-series
  • 53 – Approximate daisplacement (cu·in)
  • 2 – Twin cylinders
  • Suffix (engine is available with the following options):
    S – Electric starter;
    EP – Electric plant;
    Q – Quled model;

  1. I think it’s awesome place to gather info . Need some parts numbers like camshaft or oil filter. Can’t find out nothing bout end play on crankshaft or assembly of piston in order to provide end play,seems it does matter if rods are one way compared to another. Thanks but can you provide me with parts numbers.
