The Honda G45 is a 240 cc (16.6 cu.in.) single-cylinder air-coolled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine manufactured by Honda Motor Company since 1964 for general-purpose applications.
The Honda G45 engine has a recoil starter, horizontal carburetor with butterfly valve and high voltage ignition. Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 72.0 mm (2.83 in) and 59.0 mm (3.32 in), respectively.
The G45 produced 4.5 PS (3.31 kW) at 3400 rpm of continuous rated horsepower and 6.0 PS (4.4 kW) at 4000 rpm of maximum horsepower.
