Honda GXV140

Honda GXV140The Honda GXV140 is a 135 cc (8.2 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Honda Motor Company for general-purpose applications.

The Honda GXV140 engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design; horizontal type carburetor with butterfly valve; centrifugal mechanical governor; heavy-duty recoil starter and CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) system.

The cylinder bore is 64.0 mm (2.5 in) and the piston stroke is 42.0 mm (1.7 in), compression ratio rating is 8.0:1. The GXV140 engine produced 5.0 HP (3.7 kW) of horsepower at 3,600 rpm and 10.3 Nm (1.05 kg·m, 7.6 ft·lb) of torque at 2,500 rpm.

  2. These Specs are very helpful, but it’s not likly that I’d ever find them again. Would it be possible to download them to a PDF or xcel file so that I could file them with the Honda Manuel?

    By the way, thanks Honda for not publishing this with my mower… way to go.
