Honda GXV520 vertical shaft engineThe Honda GXV520 is a small (530 cc, 32.3 cu-in) 90° V-twin air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company.

The Honda GXV520 motor has two cylinders, integrated cylinder, and head, overhead camshaft, two-barrel carburetor. The engine is equipped with transistorized magneto ignition; centrifugal governor and electric starter.

Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 77.0 mm (3.0 in) and 57.0 mm (2.2 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.0:1. The GXV520 produces 13.1 HP (9.8 kW; 13.3 PS) at 3,600 rpm of net output power and 32.9 N·m (3.35 kg·m, 24.3 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of net torque.
