The Honda GXV530 is a small (530 cc, 32.3 cu-in) 90° V-twin air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company.
The Honda GXV530 motor has two cylinders, integrated cylinder, and head, overhead camshaft, two-barrel carburetor. The engine is equipped with transistorized magneto ignition; centrifugal governor and electric starter.
Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 77.0 mm (3.0 in) and 57.0 mm (2.2 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.0:1. The GXV530 produces 16.0 HP (11.9 kW) at 3,600 rpm of gross power or 15.2 HP (11.3 kW; 15.4 PS) at 3,600 rpm of net output power and 34.2 N·m (3.49 kg·m, 25.2 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of net torque.
