The Honda iGX440 is a 0.44 l (438 cc, 26.7 cu·in) single-cylinder air-coolled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline (petrol) engine with horizontal shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor for general-purpose applications, such as pressure washers, generators, forestry equipment, construction and industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, water pumps.
The iGX440 engine has STR (Self Tuning Regulator) governor, digital C.D.I.(Capacitor Discharge Ignition), horizontal type butterfly valve carburetor and recoil or electric starter motor. The iGX440 cylinder bore is 88.0 mm (3.46 in) and piston stroke is 72.1 mm (2.84 in), compression ratio rating is 8.1:1.
The Honda iGX440 produces 12.7 HP (9.5 kW; 12.9 PS) at 3,600 rpm net power and 29.8 N·m (3.0 kgf·m, 22.0 lb·ft) at 2500 rpm of net torque.

Cylinder Block and Head
The Honda iGX440 has cast iron cylinder sleeve, ball bearing supported crankshaft, improved piston design, heavy-duty balancer shaft. The piston has two compression rings and one oil ring. Precision camshaft design offers precise valve timing and optimal valve overlap for better fuel efficiency. The engine has integrated ECU (electronic control unit) with a self-tuning regulator (STR) governor system.

Hello wondering if u have had any problems with the ecu on this engine ? I brought two new ecu for this motor and they don’t rev 🙁 it’s not the machine as the ecu I had before I brought the two new one worked fine
