Kawasaki FX921V

Kawasaki FX921VThe Kawasaki FX921V is a 1.0 l (999 cc, 60.96 cu-in) V-twin 90° air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine with vertical shaft, manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTd., for general-purpose applications, commercial mowers, heavy-duty industrial and construction equipment.

The Kawasaki FX921V has V-twin design with vertical PTO shaft. The motor uses overhead V-valves (three Valves per cylinder); spherical combustion chamber; cast iron cylinder liners; metal engine cover with integrated clean out ports; rotating metal grass chopper screen. The engine is equipped with electronic spark ignition and twin barrel, internally vented carburetor with fuel shut-off solenoid. The FX921V motor uses high-performance lubrication system with high-efficiency oil cooler and double or multi-stage canister air filter.

The engine has an automatic compression release (ACR) system with heavy duty shift type starter. 13A, 20A or 26A charge coils, shaft variations, oil pressure switches, and various oil drains are available as an option.

It has an 89.2 mm (3.51 in) cylinder bore and 80.0 mm (3.15 in) piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 8.4:1. The Kawasaki FX921V engine produced 29.4 PS (21.6 kW; 29.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm or 31.4 PS (23.1 kW; 31.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 66.7 Nm (6.8 kg·m; 49.2 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm or 73.6 Nm (7.5 kg·m; 54.3 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of torque.
