The Kohler CV460 is a 460 cc (27.9 cu·in) single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine from the Command PRO series, manufactured by Kohler Co.
The Kohler CV460 engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design, an aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, vertical PTO-shaft, full-pressurized lubrication system. This engine is equipped with a carburetor (Nikki or Keihin) with a fixed main jet and dependable electronic magneto ignition system.
A 87.0 mm (3.43 in) cylinder bore and 77.0 mm (3.03 in) piston stroke give the CV460 engine a total of 398 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.
This engine produced 16.2 PS (11.9 KW; 16.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 36.3 Nm (3.7 kg·m; 26.8 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of torque.
The breakdown of the engine code is as follows:
- C – Command series
- V – Vertical PTO shaft
- 460 – Numerical designation

My engine had a walbro carb. It was a LMK model. I have no record of my engine serial number. Where can I get P/N for this engine. It was on a Dixon 4516 , either manufactured in 2001 or 2002. Didn’t record the decal information. Kohler Command cv 460 16 hp. Any help would be appreciated.
