The Kohler PCV740 is a 747 cc, (45.6 cu·in) V-twin air-cooled four-stroke internal combustion propane engine from the Command PRO EFI Propane series, manufactured by Kohler Co.
The Kohler PCV740 engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design, an aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, a vertical PTO-shaft, pressurized lubrication system. This engine is equipped with an EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system and electronic ignition system.
The cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 83.0 mm (3.27 in) and 69.0 mm (2.72 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 9.1:1.
