Nissan CA16SThe Nissan CA16DE is a 1.6 liter (1,598 cc, 97.51 cu in) straight-four, four-stroke carburetor gasoline engine from Nissan CA-family. The Nissan CA16S engine was produced from 1981 through 1990.

This engine has SOHC (single overhead camshaft) with two valves per cylinder (8 valves in total), cast-iron cylinder block and an aluminum cylinder head; fully balanced five-bearing crankshaft. The engine is equipped with a single barrel carburetor and ignition system with a mechanical distributor. The engine that was installed on the Yue Loong Feeling was equipped with a double-barrel carburetor.

Bore and stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 83.6 mm (3.29 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating of 9.0:1. The engine produced 81 PS (60 kW; 80 hp) at 5,200 rpm of maximum horsepower and 123 Nm (91 ft⋅lb) at 3,200 rpm of peak torque.
