The Rato RBX250 (RW170MM) is a 250.1 cc (15.3 cu-in) single-cylinder water-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion vertical motorcycle engine, manufactured by Chongqing RATO Holding (Group) CO., LTD.
The Rato ATW250 has four valves, this structure generating the high air-charging efficiency, more rapid and full burning and stronger power. Overhead double cam direct-driven air valve with the precise transmission, sound rigidity, low movement inertia, few abrasion and high reliability of valve gear. The engine uses a water-cooling system with the large flow to maintain the engine to work under the appropriate temperature and extend the engine’s lifetime. The engine is equipped with capacitance discharge ignition system (CDI), electric starter and 6-speed gearbox.
The engine cylinder bore is 70.0 mm (2.75 in) and piston stroke is 65.0 mm (2.55 in). The RBX250 (RW170MM) produced 25.8 PS (19.0 kW; 25.5 HP) at 8,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 23.0 N·m (2.34 kg·m, 16.9 ft·lb) at 7,000 rpm of torque.
