Subaru-Robin EC08DThe Subaru-Robin EC08D is a 78.5 cc (4.82 cu·in) single-cylinder air-cooled 2-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with horizontal PTO shaft.

The Subaru-Robin EC08D engine has a lined aluminum cylinder, float type carburetor, T.C.I. ignition system (Transistor Circuit Ignition) and recoil starter.

Cylinder bore is 50.0 mm (1.97 in) and piston stroke is 40.0 mm (1.57 in). The EC08D engine produced 3.3 PS (2.4 kW; 3.2 HP) at 5,500 rpm of maximum horsepower and 2.2 PS (1.6 kW; 2.2 HP) at 4,500 rpm of continuous power. Maximum torque is 5.0 N·m (0.51 kg·m, 3.7 ft·lb) at 3,600 rpm.

  1. Your specs say the fuel type is “unleaded gasoline”.
    Your specs also say that the engine is “2-stroke”.
    If it is a 2-stroke, then the fuel should be a gas-oil mix, not just unleaded gasoline. What is the gas-oil mixture ratio ?
