The Toyosha S126 is a 1.3 l (1,263 cc, 77.07 cu-in) two-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion diesel engine, manufactured by Japanese company Hinomoto under the Toyosha brand.
This engine has two cylinders, overhead valves (2 per cylinder), three main bearings, flyweight governor and Kiki fuel injection pump. The S126 engine uses Hitachi S12-61 electric starter, Hitachi L115-5B (12V-15A) alternator and Hitachi TRIZ-34 voltage regulator.
A 92 mm (3.62 in) cylinder bore and 95 mm (3.74 in) piston stroke give the motor a total of 1,263 cc, (77.07 cu-in) of displacement. Compression ratio rating is 23:1. The Toyosha S126 engine produced 23.0 HP (17.1 kW) of maximum output.
