    • 1. Confirm cylinder head for 2L & 3L can be used on either engine blocks.

      2. How do I determine if Four (4) Oil sprayer in each piston linners in the engine block is bad?

      • Good day
I have a question about my engine which is Toyota Hilux 2.8 3l. This engine is just overheating and boiling just over driving more than less 8km we bought new brand same engine from the box and still doing the same problem. I wonder any more where to get advice on the engine.

  1. Dear Sir.
You need your quotations for diesel engines 2L,3L and 5L and any quantity available to you and it will be exported out UK.
    Thanks

  2. My 3l engine is overheating(boiling) especially when it is loaded to capacity. It powers an Hiace which is carrying 16 passengers. It was overhauled and still on standard. The radiator is a transverse one and was cleaned though roughly and the water pump is working normally. The radiator cap was replaced.

  3. THANKS FOR SHARING THE TORGUE SPECIFICATION FOR 3L ENGINE.
IT WORTH IT FOR ME TO READ AND DO WHAT IS WRIGHT FOR MY ENGINE

  4. hi there,
    engine over heating?
flush the block, radiator, use toyota thermostat, radiator must be very clean,!
ur 2L will last decades, if you:

change the oil at 5ooo km.
failure to change and maintain oil at correct km ur number 3 big end will destroy ur engine!!

    change oil filter at 10000km.

change the cam belt and tensioners at 100000 km.

change the coolant and power flush ur block at correct period.

check fan belts and adjust as required.

make sure ur radiator viscus fan is working properly..

the air filter must be cleaned at 5000 km depending on road condition or renewed.

  5. all of my crankpin diameters are approximately 55mm. I dont understand why this is if the specs here say 52.988-53.000 mm. why is mine 2 mm larger in diameter? my engine is designated 3l ln86r.

  6. what is the reccomended torque settings for the fuel injectors and the fuel rail holder bolts?
