ULPower UL260iThe ULPower UL260i is a 2.6 l (2,592 cc, 158.17 cu in) four-cylinder, four-stroke, lightweight horizontally opposed aircraft engine produced by a Belgian company ULPower.

The UL260i engine has been developed specifically for use in light aircraft and is manufactured to the highest industry standards with fully electronic ignition and multi-point fuel injection (FADEC) system as standard equipment.

The UL260i motor cylinder bore is 105.6 mm (4.157 in) and piston stroke is 74 mm (2.913 in), compression ratio 8.16:1. The engine is equipped with: dual (redundant) electronic spark ignition system with variable timing; electronic multipoint fuel injection system (pressure and temperature compensated); direct propeller drive and electronic RPM limiter; electric fuel pump and pressure regulator; integrated permanent magnet AC generator with external rectifier-regulator; electric starter.

The output power rating is 97 HP (71 kW) at 3,300 rpm or 85 HP (63 kW) at 2,800 rpm, the maximum torque is 218 Nm (160.8 ft.lbf) at 2,700 rpm.

The ULPower UL260i aircraft engine has ram air-cooled cylinders and cylinder heads, five bearing crankshaft with surface hardening treatment and additional large thrust bearing (ball bearing type). The blockhead has single central camshaft, pushrods, tappets and over-head valves without hydraulic compensators.
