Yamaha MA190The Yamaha MA190 is a 189 cc (11.5 cu-in) single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion general-purpose gasoline engine with vertical shaft manufactured by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

The Yamaha MA190 engine has a low-profile OHC (overhead cam) system with steel chain drive for optimized engine size and durability; hemispherical head with angled intake/exhaust valves; cast-iron cylinder line; float type carburetor; transistorized ignition system (T.C.I.).

The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.67 in) and the piston stroke is 52.0 mm (2.05 in), compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. The engine produced 5.0 PS (3.7 kW) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower. Maximum torque is 11.2 N·m (1.14 kg·m, 8.26 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm.

  2. I would like to see the power and torque curves (as function of engine speed) because I intend to operate at steady state in the 1600-2200 rpm range.
