Zongshen GB1000SThe Zongshen GB1000S is a 999 cc, (60.96 cu·in) V-twin cylinders air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline engine, from GB-series manufactured by Zongshen Power Co. for general-purpose applications.

The Zongshen GB1000S engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design, carburetor fuel system, transistorized ignition system, and electric starter. The cylinder bore is 90.0 mm (3.54 in) and the piston stroke is 78.5 mm (3.09 in).

The Zongshen GB1000S produced 32.6 PS (24.0 kW; 32.2 HP) at 3,900 rpm of maximum output power and 71 N·m (7.2 kg·m, 52.3 ft·lb) of maximum torque.
